Sweet & Sour Red Cabbage
Made mom’s sweet & sour red cabbage today! This time of year she would be cooking up a storm of it in her kitchen. Red cabbage is great on autumn classics like beer brats, chicken schnitzel sliders (pictured here) and more. Serve it as a side or on a sandwich. A simple, colorful and delicious way to get Oktoberfest on a plate when you can’t get to Deutschland!
Have fun with this- I couldn’t find apple 🍎 cider vinegar so used Champagne 🥂 vinegar & worked great!
Wonderful way to showcase apples while in season. I made mine with Honey Crisp Apples- my absolute favorite!
Put fall on a plate with this delicious German custom.
