for today’s celebrations- ironically, from
England!

Gin and Tonic
1 1/2 Tablespoons Twisted Nose Hampshire Gin
1 Mediterranean tonic water- this photo show Fever Tree‘s tonic water with floral botanicals
5 juniper berries- available through Amazon
1 sprig of lavender- I get my lavender each Spring from Winding Creek Nursery in Millbrook, Illinois (photo below)
1 rind of grapefruit
Fill glass with ice
Add juniper berries and lavender sprig
Pour the gin over the ice and garnish to maximize flavor.
Zest the grapefruit over the whole drink just before serving.
Serve with Mediterranean Tonic on the side.
