Delicious Baked Apples

April 14, 2020- 108 years ago tonight over 1,500 people lost their lives after the Titanic struck an iceberg. Many people have tried to re-create the lavish first class dinner from that night, but there are simple ways to honor the Titanic’s menus even while we are sheltering in place, unable to entertain. Tonight I made baked apples, which were on the first class breakfast menu on April 11. A wonderful, delicious treat & so simple to make! So comforting & full of memories of home & family!

Baked Apple Recipe
• Core a couple of 🍎apples (I love honey crisp best!)
• Pack the cores full of brown sugar & raisins
• Place a pat of butter on top of each apple. Bake them at 350 for 45 minutes.

I top like to them with whipped cream or ice cream. For these I used Bunny Tracks ice cream leftover from the Easter Sundaes I made the other day!
